SavageTheater in Education programme for children aged 8-10 years

The new theatre in education programme of Káva offers for the participating children again the possibility to play together and think together with the actors. We create a common playground with the help of the theatre and the fairy-tale, where children can think and play freely why it is so difficult to be a good child.
The starting point of our performance is a fairy-tale; that main character is the boy, who gets into an unknown and unpredictable imaginary world, where rules work in a different way than in the usual, well-known everyday world. This imaginary world is frightful and liberating at the same time, where the boy should re-learn what violence means, what is honesty and dishonesty, what it means to be good and obedient boy.
During the play the actors and the children are all spectators, participants and creators of the story. The aim of the common thinking is to throrouhly investigate and deeply understand by our questions the the familiar and unfamiliar worlds around us and living in us.
